#5005 RE: Dedodong #5003

Go back and read the news release about Cake Software.

Cake owns and operates their own gambling network & sites outside the US and were not shutdown by DOJ because they had pulled out and operated only offshore with no US customers.

They still operate that way today. Any revenue they make is theirs not ATIG's.

They licensed ATIG to operate Cake Software on the TGN. You can play on ATIG's website for PLAY MONEY ONLY. right now. Personally I find the Cake poker software not as robust as the others that got shut down but it is adequate.

Currently this runs on some ATIG server and is not a server operated by the company they announced in Oct. that will provide the actual TGN server infrastructure. This play money software has been running since this summer after the Cake announcement and long before the server company announcement.

Once they integrate all of the software pieces, (Cake, ECDI, Tabcorp, ATIG, etc.) to run on the server and test it with the clients they will be ready for a certification process. Their latest filings indicate they will grow the IT staff through 2012 to implement and support the software, infrastructure, and testing. Getting all of these pieces of software playing together is not as trivial as plugging in the DVD and clicking on INSTALL. It will take significant software and script development effort to get these diverse software sources to be able to share data and interact properly.

I didn't see anything in Grubes' post that implied we were already LIVE.

As always all of the above is IMO.
