The flaw was in asking if they personally were a pre or post holder. That is a TOS violation. You have to cast it in general terms. E.g., "I can understand why pre-holders would argue for this, but post holders really have no moral ground at all to stand on...."

Your post makes more sense than most of the others that I have read. Your point ( on the backs of preferreds ) hits the nail on the head. Sad, but true.
