Financing is not the only problem SUGO has - it's those permits that they need and will never get. It's been two years and SUGO has failed to make any progress on funding or permits. Even if they somehow got funding they would be in a 3-5 year battle to develop an open pit mine that would create air pollution, something that the LAWD has spent over 1/2 billion dollars to eliminate.
