its clear that the always connected model is going to become the norm, voice, data, etc. all need that backup connection 24 / 7, seamless offloading and visa-versa for wireless devices are destined to become the oxygen of the telecommunications industry

time is being wasted however because the communication industry is very clever--every day that goes by w/ out holding them to task only adds to their list of affirmative defenses

If you think the US is going to allow its military targeting system to be destroyed by LightSquared or any other telecomm company, you are dreaming. Esp. since the DOT is systematically decommissioning all other air nav systems (NDB, VORTAC, etc.) And spending hundreds of billions of dollars to work around CLYW's patent is absurd. They would have years ago simply bought CLYW, Daic, and the patent. Although I am not discounting the likelihood of corporate shenanigans just this side of a law suit.
