Treit, Thanks for the insight. I now clearly see the incentive to short by IR at 60 cents but it seems border line illegal to me. Obviously i am nieve.
One other senerio I have for the share price being where it is and I now think it is the most accurate is that "the Market" has been given a hard valuation of this company. That valuation is 6.9MM shares for just over 3MM dollars. Like in any secondary offering below current market the stock price usually drops just below the offering price after it is announced.
Hopefully your .02 will never buy a share of SIAF.
