I believe they are just waiting to see some revenues come in before it is released. I am assuming you saw this:

There are several companies doing similar stuff. Marriott Int'l is even trying them out as well, at the same time that they try Tivus out. I can't verify that they are 'exactly' identical to Tivus in what they do (heck, I can't even verify 'exactly' what Tivus does, I can only parrot what Tivus has said that they do... amazing they've never posted a demo video on their web site, ain't it?), but they are IPTV nonetheless.

As for the delay, many of us have speculated that Tivus is in a catch-22 at present. That is, perhaps Host is not willing to sign on the dotted line until they see hard evidence of Tivu's revenue claims. But in that case, the problem is that Tivu - it seems - cannot really make good on their revenue claims until enough people (namely, enough for 5,000 rooms) sign on the dotted line.

That is a possible explanation. What it has going for it is that it explains the delay, as well as what seems to be the implication of several recent PR's.

What it has going against it is that Tivus seemed to previously imply that Host HAD, in fact, already signed on the dotted line.

I'm not sure what to make of it. I keep pressing Steve for clarification. Steve keeps saying that clarification is coming.

Now many of us were previously not inclined to put a lot of stock in (though it certainly hasn't kept us from buying a lot of stock in) such assurances from Steve. But he/they have come through in a BIG way with the two-year audit. So I am inclined to trust a bit more now. I assume that our new support level (if that's what it is) says the same about others.
