I actually rode through there on highyway 550 during the summer. took a 3500 mile road trip, and I specifically wanted to take the highway from Silverton to Durango. Saw a bunch of old mines and equipment, but had no idea that I would be investing thousands of dollars into them! hahaha. Not sure if CGFIA has any part of Yankee Girl Mine, but that thing was awesome riding next to it. Best motorcycle road I have ever been on.
