MarketFest, I know charting in theory, but putting it into practice is the problem. I figure I'll give this simplified swing trading approach a try.

Other approaches (trading chart patterns, pincher plays) I can do in practice trades, but when real money is on the line, I always bail out at the first sign of trouble (usually within 15 minutes). So swing trading the overall market might be a better approach, and the technical indicators will hopefully provide the emotional detatchment that is required.

Here's the full swing trading layout I came up with, using 5 indicators, but relying mainly on Full Stochastics and the MACD histogram. Buy signals are in blue, sell signals in red -
