unfortunately georgia has too. i live in rural southcentral georgia. every thing around here revolves around agriculture. my neighbor had to abandon his blackberry crop and pick the grapes instead. other friends had to leave many acres of blueberries. i own and manage a gamebird farm, so I know the south ga. temperatures are brutal but you do what you have to do. it was just as hot when I was growing up. we cropped tobacco all day and then went to summer football workouts. people are just too soft these days.

being a TEXAS farmers boy, me thinks farmers could work split shifts patrolin tha border at nite and farmin in tha day. spouse can patrol tha border during tha day, and farm at nite.( big families in texas, dont ya know?) grandma had 14 siblings as i recall. and grandpaw had 9. grandpaw was oldest on that side, quit school after the 6th grade, and being the oldest, raised his siblings.
and ...pick cotton... sharecroped and all of em went from place to place. greatgrandma died when the youngest of the family was born. but he learned to carry a gun young as a lad from what i heard.

anyway, texas folks can take care of the border if necessary, and by asking kiddoes to join armed services after hi school, if they arent going to attend college, would build a strong texas border presense. just think about it, after basic military trainin ship em back to texas border and build more army bases on the texas border. kiddoes would get to actually defend their loved ones, family and friends, and then reap the benefits afforded to military folks after their service is up.
TEXAS will make a strong presense either way, and other states can easily follow example, and enlist their own favorite sons and daughters to defend borders close to the action, in lower 48.

this is a plan, of mine, a idea, a prayer, a thought.
anyone else? tex will pitch it to the conservative nom. of choice when the time arrives.

"Work ethic" would put that up over against "common sense" as a failling attribute.

Of course I appeal to the latter with the reminder that I remain a Q sheeple.
