the one thing Obama apparently said, it will not be on here until about 29 minutes .. he says this is NOT EXACT... is the EXACT thing I have always thought ... I believed he, he meaning Obama truly believed this .... When I came into office in 2009, I thought the magnitude of the Country's problems were great enough, that Republicans and Democrats in Congress could put aside some of their rigid ideological baggage and come together to make hard balanced choices to fix things...but the Republicans made a different calculation. They saw that they had really messed up the economy and that I (POTUS) was popular. If they just stood on the sidelines and let things get worse, they could just wait, and eventually blame me for the bad economy.
the person who wrote this .. bolded it like that, to me I have always believed that Obama believed that first part .. .that the repubs would cooperate because it was so important to the country to do so .... He believed that ......and I always believed that was what he felt, sincerely ... as far as the bolded part ... well ... . a lot of us knew that 'repubs' would never care about the country ... if they had .....they would not have screwed up so bad and would not have left it in such bad shape ... but, they've always been like that .... finally it seems that He ... knows that too ........
