Nice reminder colemano, he will be using is dongle on a 4g network at peak times pushing 2 or 3 mbps. SoI guess if there satisfied with there over priced Wimax LTE, they can stick with it.
So now let me explain what Val has been working on. He went in depth the first day I met him. First he explained to me how the LMDS technology splits the data, and is able to send it on 15 channels, and then it is collected back at the other antenna, and put back together. This is why its so good for the last mile data transmission. What our friend dosen't say about the line of sight, it is then sent to repeaters around town, and from there can be passed thru other antenna for local distribuation. So as he explaned to me, with todays speeds, they will have the ability to send a full lenght 1080 in a few seconds. (at 50mbps times 15 channels) They will NOT stream, as this is what is plugging up the internet highway now. So with this technology, we will be able to take the load off the big providers, and free up the 4g, and 3g networks. He also said put together with a Roku TV box, it is perfect for home entertainment. (He said his kids have this already at home and love it)
So this is what he has planned, and from what I have witnessed, it sure seems like he WILL do it...
