Powerpole, Ms. Brownell did have prior knowledge of CTC. When I asked her about it she said "Isn't that the company that just went bankrupt?" So she also knows about our problems. She is a big technology buff and so she really likes learning about the new tech. I told her all of the benefits that I could remember over 3M's product.
PUHCA is the Public Utilities Holding Company Act (I think I got that right). It restricts utilites from buying other utilities. It is the possible hang-up to Buffet buying PacifiCorp. If there is more consolidation among the utilities they would be more likely to invest into the grid.
