What are your thoughts on these MBC results? Did they meet or exceed your expectations?

Cabo shows some activity in several cancer types including MBC. It does not seem to support use alone but may in combination be useful as part of a treatment plan for these other cancers (much better utility in MTC and CRPC) .

It certainly looks like there is some activity with 14% PR and 59% SD, but is that enough for a viable path forward in this patient setting?

I don't know. Again, it seems to me that Cabo may be useful in the arsenal of anti-cancer drugs for use in combination with other drugs. One of the weaknesses of our system of approving drugs is that a drug has to get approved first before the clinicians can figure out how to use it in combinations not tested and there really is no efficient way to test combinations.
