Thats true..Lazyman..many traders think profit taking moves are reversals so they find themselves short on a long play or other way around..a true reversal is almost always after a consolidation period.The consolidation does not always mean reversal tho..usually is..but can also have another leg in same trend after it breaks out of consolidation.
