Not exactly, this is a phase II clinical trial which showed an improved "Overall response rate". This is not the same as overall survival. If a tumor shrinks but does not improve quality of life or improve overall survival, it won't be used.
Phase III trials change practice, usually not phase II unless the results are extraordinary. Results are encouraging, but, please don't think its a home run or that oncologists will prescribe it.
IMO, if this drug improves overall survival, I will buy more! That announcement would be a home run.
