Sadly the few boards that do have good mods and assistants now risk being thrown into chaos when someone who enjoys stirring the pot gets to come on-board. So I really don't see this change helping in any way to curtail abuse whatsoever.

With he exception of perhaps family, where husbands and wives act as equals (not my family, the wife is in charge...lol) there is a reason everything else in life has a ranking structure, chain of command, pecking order, etc, etc. Having a bunch of chiefs doesn't work, never did and probably never will.

Say a negative word on a stock board and your post gets tossed. I've had posts removed claiming they were duplicates and I only posted it once. lol.

Now how could that be?

It's just not worth the effort to post on stock specific boards anymore unless you're pro that stock. I've had people trash a stock board simply because the stock they bought went BK.

It's like you really need to take your problem somewhere else.

i do agree 6 is abbit overload

I'm speaking ONLY about FREE STOCK SPECIFIC boards as I believe this will impact only these visiably...

If one has paid any attention to stock board mods, it's actually very transitory in monthly time frames, except in a handful of intense stock boards, but, there always seems to be a few assist mods who appear less involved in any outward capacity on a board.

They may occasionally pop in or delete a post to show activity, but for the most part are inactive for periods of time.

6 isn't too much as everyone has different times to hit Ihub so perhaps their shifts will overlap or catch the busier mod peoples down time. 6 may not be enough.

What I would like to see Ihub implement, is a layer of PM allowed between a boards mods whether you are free or not. If you are a mod, maybe Ihub would allow PM between only board attached mods, maybe 2 posts a day or something. This would obviously only benefit we free members. Maybe a chat channel per board for moderator elements.
