To the extent that cost is an issue, there is a program to reduce the cost for those who have insurance issues (I think everybody who sells expensive drugs have these programs).

Alas, they do probably have to come over here to have a shot.

Also, the $180k is for a full course of treatments. It's more like $20k per round.

Very sad we have to talk price on this subject.

Thanks Genisi! Appreciate the info and glad to know there is some substantial hope with the treatment. Also, yes that looks to be the issue with her regarding getting it paid for. She's going to try and get a loan and go ahead with treatment rather than wade through all the red tape.

On another note to the rest of the board, she has a fundraising page here for the treatment (with her story etc) in case anyone is interested in checking out or helping. Thanks guys!
