Adding to the mystery is why the stock still has a hold from DTC to be traded/bought. Its been months since this hold was placed and the new management which took over should have been able to provide evidence to take this off....??

Firstly, I think it's safe to surmise that all things moving forward hinged upon the APA being carved-in-stone, and there might have been some lingering issues with distribution of funds and the like. Our plans for the future may be entirely dependant on other parties being fully committed to their course of action, and showing our hand prematurely might have left us at a disadvantage.

Secondly, the timing of things may be as simple as running-out the calendar year for accountancy purposes. These could range from more esoteric advantages with the IRS, SEC, etc. challenges, or just starting a new set of books on a "clean" page, to something as simple as optimizing YTD S/H positions for "capital gains" purposes. I'm about as far as you can get from being considered a "numbers guy", so take these speculations with a grain of salt.

The key thing to always bear in mind is that the people leading these efforts are also amongst the most heavily invested in this company's future. There are no "golden parachutes" here, no "severance packages". This is pure Stud poker, and we're "all-in" (and I think we're gettin' a pretty-good idea of what it means when the other side plays with their chips)...
