Intel Dirty Tricks Affect Benchmarks

So, now we know that the Intel compiler slugs AMD processors. What about benchmark sets?

Well this poster noted that DivX, frequently used by hardware sites, including Toms, was compiled with that same compiler. Did Intel encourage this, was it a "recommended" benchmark program.

So. Tom are you going to rerun the benchmarks? Is DivX going to recompile? Can anyone patch out the cpu_check to return true always for the GenuineIntel compare (its easy really but I don't have an Intel machine to compare).
