OTCBB vs Pink Sheets

The main difference between the OTCBB and Pink Sheets markets is that OTCBB is regulated and administered by FINRA while Pink Sheets is an independent marketplace. Getting quoted on the OTCBB requires a much longer process and requires companies to have a 2 year audited report before even being able to become quoted. In general we only work with Pink Sheets for the following reasons:

The companies does not need to have 2 year auditing
Declaration from SEC on form S-1 is NOT required
Regulations on the Pink Sheets are not as strict
Deadlines will not delist you, but meerly give your company stock symbol a less value
The Pink Sheets has an OTCQX marketplace that resembles the OTCBB requirements, thus OTCBB is obsolete
And in effect the last point is what really makes the decisive move from our company to only help companies getting quoted on the Pink Sheets as upgrading to OTCQX is much easier for a company already quoted on the Pink Sheets. Additionally Pink Sheets has more companies listed, more advanced technical features and is just a more popular marketplace for new coming companies.

The Pink Sheets has been chosen by a number of large corporations in Europe as a starting point, as a Pink Sheet while getting the company in a stage where it also became ready for a OTCQX quotation.
