As I stated in my previous posts I was able to get a free 5 day trial version of Raystream's compression technology about 3 weeks ago. However, I did sign up to get another free trial last week under a different alias to try and test their technology on some other video types other than Apple podcasts (which uses H.264), but am still waiting to hear back. At first I thought they may have known that my IP address or something had already received a free trial and weren't going to give me another one. But, based on your post it sounds like they may be having some technical glitches with the free trial version. I am not sure why the woman on the phone said that the free trial has not worked yet, because I was able to use the trial to compress 3 HD videos (less than 200MB) by 50%-80% (depending on the size). Perhaps that woman did not know that it was working a few weeks ago, or meant that it has not worked perfectly yet, or maybe she meant that it just has not been working recently.
It is also possible that they are concentrating much more on companies who would potentially buy their services, rather than waste too much time on individual investors who are looking to see how good the technology is. Also, they are a very new company and so there will certainly be hurdles to overcome such as technical glitches. I have been a little bit surprised with the large short term growth of this stock over the past few weeks. So, it's possible it will have more volatility in the short term, but I was able to use the technology and it appears to work very well, so I am holding long on Raystream.
