the a/s number by itself means very little here. it is simply the number of shares authorized, including ones that haven't been made tradeable, but are authorized IN CASE the company needs them.

the o/s is the number that is much more important, as that is the actual number of shares in play. and we can get an accurate o/s and a/s count any day during business hours by calling our ungagged t/a.

now, i understand there are many many less transparent stocks some here may be used to, where you can't get an accurate up to date o/s count, so in those stock's cases the last filed a/s count becomes much more of a significant number, as people are "flying blind" in this scenario, and naturally suspect the o/s is hovering near the a/s number.

with brav, we can always just simply call and get an accurate up to date o/s count, meaning the a/s number means very little here.
