If my DD on adwords is right, then not being able to see the ad at the midday means that it maxed out early in the day which = very high site traffic.

Yes, what he posted is accurate, but I'm still pretty sure that DA is experimenting with Google Adwords because there have been full days where it's been off. When/if you see Adwords go away halfway through the day probably means that the daily budget has been hit.
