Perhaps, but the big gamble is will GOSY ever sucessfully get product to market. All I've seen to date is empty promises, countless excuses, spin offs and useless MOUs. Granted IRBT is a more expensive IPO, but it has a sucessful track record, the R&D resources, marketing and capability.

It's also why I'm still here...waiting.

No software = no market. iRobot's market cap is based on a vacuum cleaner with no vacuum power (for the gadget crowd) and military contracts.

Today's PR seems to indicate that GeckoSystems and an un-named UK contractor could soon be stealing some of their bread and butter.
