Rogue:
Like I've said before, if you want to base any intelligent judgement on coincidence, then buy and sell the markets based on whether the NFC wins the superbowl!
Anyway, besides all that, which I could write books on, what is your point? Typically when people refer to things like this there is a reason. They are trying to make a point.
Usually, it is something like a conspiracy. "It can't be THAT coincidental. Humans must have been involved!" But, your point about the powerball clearly has nothing to do with humans. The S&P ending at 911 has nothing to do with humans. No human could make that happen in a market that is controlled by millions of buyers and sellers every minute.
So, what are you even trying to say???
IF you are saying that there is some mystical force at work and that this mystical force controlled all of these things that make them seem impossible to happen on their own (coincidence), then that is another issue ENTIRELY.
I'm not necessarily going to debate that because I happen to be a Christian and I happen to believe that there could be some serious mystical things happening in the future. So, if someone wants to make the argument that all these things you mentioned are related to God warning of some impending EOW scenario, I'm not going to argue. I'm not going to agree. I'm just not going there.
More than anything though, I have read statistical information all my life, and studied it and written about it. I live, eat, breath and sleep it. It is all I think about. I have never met, or known, or known of, anyone like me. And, I can tell you in no uncertain terms that zillions of "coincidences" can be found if enough people are looking for them.
