buy a company with stock, make it a subsidiary and do an ipo to generate money?...lol...

how about just selling or licensing the damn monstersilk to someone, get the cash and use it for pss or platforms or proteins or whatever the hell else is the next thing kblb is going to say they are doing today?...

Because to sell monster silk wholesale KBLB would need to produce it wholesale, and the costs involved in doing that (buying or leasing factory space, equipment, and personnel would far exceed the costs of buying/merging/JV with an existing company which already has all of the above, and because KBLB's stock and IP are worth much more to partners who will be participating in revenues and growth than to some third party who is just putting up cash.

lets see...what is the value of a company that gets bought out and no longer generates any money doing what it did before and kblb isnt able to do anything with it either?...

There is no reason or basis for you to assume that the production company would cease operations when it is acquired.
As I clearly and carefully pointed out in the post that you are responding to, the production company would continue to produce and sell ordinary spider silk while the monster worm eggs that KBLB already has in its refrigerators are introduced. There would be little or no gap caused by the switch over to the new worms.

If KBLB sold the rights outright or supplied the new worm eggs to a large existing, probably overseas producer they would get less for it, have greater risks of counterfeiting, and not have the facilities available for future development.

PS. before repeating old arguments please READ my previous post.
There are no 10 billion A/S. There are unlimited A/S just as almost every other company.
This has been true for for about 3 years.
It was the case even before the arguments first made on this board about the "10 billion A/S". Those arguments were about a figment.

Totally agree with this Mojo.

how about just selling or licensing the damn monstersilk to someone, get the cash and use it for pss or platforms or proteins or whatever the hell else is the next thing kblb is going to say they are doing today?...

unless they have already gone that route and no one is interested....i mean, Kim hasn't been able to get kblb off the ground..so of course he should buy some other company with money he doesn't have...after all, it will just simply automatically be an asset and bring value and raise the book value as well...

Although I don't think he has been turned down and nobody wants it. I think one problem (And another place you are right) Is if Kim buys a "company" it wont be making money if he switches that company to KBLBs silk instead of whatever it is they are making. That disruption would delay income for a while.

That is part of the reason I think is Kim is "buying" anything it will be something to help process cocoons. He could have a line of people wanting the silk but if he doesn't have the silk to sell he can not announce a sale.

We should be at the point that eggs laid today should be for sale. There should be millions of them if they started breeding in June. The will mature near the end of the year.

I would think no later then Feb 1 we should have some kind of sale or prospective sale. If we don't then Kim did not start breeding in June. Or he has decided to change direction with the introduction of the platform worm. I am not sure how I feel about that idea yet.If that is the case though we should hear about it much sooner then the expected sale date. I would think by Christmas .

That is my guess
