#63271 RE: dredgemaster #63266

Going way back to when we were expanding our dredges I thought a single dredge license covered all dredges. In fact I seem to remember we were exempt from dredge licenses due to the JV nature with the tribes. The issue back then was import tarriffs on our equipment.

SGCP also only shares 10 percent with the cheif/tribe but we also provide planting seeds to tribal farms who pay us back 50 percent above the loan. That is extra from our own rented farmland. I believe these favorable terms are part of Doug's agreement to use local labor when possible. Plus he is the big Bwana who was there helping back in the war long before he asked the chiefs to mine there.

We lose 30 percent on diamonds because we have to use the Lebanese middleman.

The return to Pampana will be interesting.

Every bit helps Dredge, thanks.

Thank You Dredge! That was the kind of info I was looking for.

I was trying to figure out how big an expense it would be if we had over 20 (potentially) dredging sites to pay for.

The actual expense of the surface rents and license for the concession isn't as big a deal (money wise) as I thought.

Of course the biggest thing of all is the same as realstate... location, location, location.
