No Layne is not involved with TRDY anymore as an officer per their recent DEF 14C Filing on 10/12/2011, but remains a shareholder. But then the damage to TRDY has been done so it was time for him to move on to GEAR.
Layne, Secretary, Director resigned Jan 2, 2011 300,000,000 Common Shares (It appears he still has these TRDY shares.)

I have not been able to document much on Layne. He attended University College of the Fraser Valley (east of Vancouver) and is into website design and hosting at Impello Inc. I see nothing that qualifies him to serve as Sec./Treas. of GEAR.
