Ruby....thanks for supplying the PXD link. I also picked up that PXD has accumulated 5 blocks in W. Africa in the last 6 months.

Slide 18 indicates unrisked postential BBOE in W. Africa as 1.5 to 2.0.

Also noted on slide 26 statment of drilling 8 wells in W. Africa from 2005 to 2007. Lastly, the question posed: Why W. Africa?

1) High chance of success.

2) Large reserve potential

3) 1.0 to 2.0 BBOE of gross unrisked program potential.


No mention in the webcast of DVN's pull out.
