I read that post and the link. But it addresses shares that have been bought back by the company and cancelled. It doesn't fir this scenario.
Now, I know other pinks have done the same thing, like BCIT, but I didn't get involved in them so I'm not sure what the outcome was.
In the only other cases I'm familiar with, they were companies on actual exchanges. In those instances, they're able to be exchanged. Sometimes, after much tracing due to mergers or other corporate changes.
