I only own VRS.v shares, but turned over a few trades (TSX listed shares) last Friday and Monday, I wanted to use the cash from those trades to buy a bit more VRS.v but could not due to the 3 day international trade settlement rule at Fidelity.
I decided to buy VRSEF instead (no settlement wait on the pinks), Fidelity will also switch your VRSEF shares into VRS.v shares if you want that done, that is what they told me on Monday (no charge and I believe they stated no currency adjustment, currency adjustment was done when you bought VRSEF, Fidelity routes order through Canaccord in Toronto).
When I took a look at VRSEF quotes on the 8th & 9th in my Fidelity & E-Trade accounts, I was showing a few thousand share difference in volume and a couple of pennies difference in price, made a call to Fidelity, they claimed their data was correct, the other odd thing I seen is that on FID's system a 2500 share trade went through at 0802est even with the stock halted???
Anytime I trade a pink I always use limit order + check the spread on the stock in its home market + adjust for currency difference......otherwise your limit order could be way out of paramater....order won't get touched!
Hoping to see the 1000 lesion study within the next two or three months + see a few Aura's deployed in Canada! Hopefully the Aussie stamp is in the bag before year end!
