Well first of all I was joking ;-) and second, if I wanted to signal something to someone (for instance to buy in) I would just have to put 333,333 shares up for sale under the ask so they'd see it and then take it away quick before the shares actually sold :-). Wouldn't need the MM's to do anything. Like you said they don't get any inside info anyway. Just a myth.
