Onteco Corporation (OTCQB: ONTC) (PINKSHEETS: ONTC) (the "Company", or "Onteco"), announced today that its subsidiary, NexPhase Lighting, Inc. ("NexPhase"), a designer, developer and manufacturer of high efficiency, high quality LED intelligent lighting fixtures, has completed LM79 testing for its LED Eight Inch Can Downlights, which represents completion of a significant milestone that will contribute to NexPhase's overall competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Ty Ramsey, COO of NexPhase, stated, "We have completed a vital milestone in establishing our products as undisputed 'best of class' and well ahead of the competition. Today, we received notification from CSA, our independent LM79 testing lab, that our LED Eight Inch Downlights No. RC82055C11, has successfully completed all its LM79 testing. The relevance of this notification is that our customers can now order this product series and participate in an increasing number of utility rebate programs only applicable to products rigorously tested by such independent accredited laboratories.
