Don't get me wrong LAD. I think that getting these Euro-networks is awesome but I am trying to get a feel for this announcement. It was stated that it is up to the network as to when they want to announce a new show on their channel so maybe that has already happend in the US and we are just waiting for the news which is why Paperny is working expansion in other market areas now. Not to say that they couldn't do both at the same time but you figure that they would be concentrating a heavy effort on landing a US deal.
As for how many people in US compared to Europe that is moot here. You can tap 300+ million potential viewers all at once with a US deal. You have to go to each European country at a time to get a deal and then add up the residual effect of the free publicity and potential sales increases. That is why the US is THE market to get. It will take quite a while to skip around Europe and cement these deals but I am more than willing to volunteer to help!
