I do think UVE's concentration in metals/resources is a poor decision. And while I mentioned this before, just want to metnion it again, if you include the 10 million in net losses this quarter, and the losses last quarter; since UVE made these investmets a few years back, they have taken 50 million in realized gains (again inclusive of these losses).

UVE $10.1M loss on investments for Q3 amounts to ($0.25) pretax or ($0.15) after tax. Hence after tax EPS of $0.17, excluding the investment loss.
