10,000,000 x (.0025 initial average) = $25,000 investment. 10,000,000 x +.0045 = 45,000 profit
7,000,000 x (.0045 average after you flipped) = $31,500 investment. 7,000,000 x +.0055 = 38,500 profit
Longs
10,000,000 x (.0025 initial average) = 25,000 investment. 10,000,000 x .0175 = 175,000 profit
took less of an investment to make more profits the first time, now it will take more of an investment for less shares and less profits even if you sell at a higher pps than the first time. Thats why for grossly undervalued growth stocks, its almost always impossible to maintain even close to your initial and powerful share count AND LOWER average as it was with the initial share count. And almost always means more work, less money in the long run.
Why not just sit back and enjoy the ride from .001s .002s to .01s .02s, less work, less commission pay, more money. Just as a side note, 1 year + holdings = 0% short term capital gains tax (otherwise 15%), five years = 0% tax.
