Yeah whyme is an interesting character

He spams and then congratulates himself on his picks with what appear to be his other aliases.

What makes him unique though is he sometimes takes the trouble to defend himself. Most of those types dont bother.

The definition of spam is tricky as it relates to this board. Is it more spam for someone to promote the same thing 10 times (once per board) - and only once or twice on this board - OR is it more spam to promote the same things 10 times or more on this board and no other? I, for one, can tell you which I would prefer!

I don't think it is relevant to VMC how many other times someone posts on other boards. As long as the stock meets the qualifications on THIS board, then it qualifies. A much more important issue is whether or not someone was just an egregious spammer in which case they should be banned from this board and all others. IHub watches out for these people. I don't think I've seen Whyme cross that line. Not all that far from it sometimes, perhaps, but not over it IMO.

I appreciate your thoughts, and you know me. I'm not all that tolerant. But this issue has come up before and this has been my conclusion in the past. If, for any reason, HW or BW have a different opinion on the issue of someone posting a qualifying stock on this board that is simply cut and paste from other boards (I've never heard a word about that from either), then I will gladly follow their desires.
