Humm...it is obvious you have spent little time over in the middle east. Many of the "more progressive" countries over there (UAE, Bahrain, etc) do sell alcohol in hotels and compounds. I have sat and drank beers with many Saudis, Kuwaities, etc that are "good" muslims. Sort of like a vacation for them. Don't know if any Iraqis were there, but I am sure they follow suit....funny to watch these guys in their traditional dress slamming back a few....
