AWRCF--2omorrow--They had $2.39 in cash and equivalents at 9/30/04 which is nine months ago. At the investor meeting in April they talked about some of their operating subs being cash constrained because of the high price of copper. Friday's press release alluded to lower earnings, in part, because of the high price of copper. I'm guessing they have "converted" a good portion of the cash to inventory as copper prices have spiked over the last nine months. Hopefully, they are still selling at decent margins. They were about 15% nine months ago, and it sounds like copper prices have cut into them.
