Interesting. Not any more a Nigerian entity and Offor will lose control which I think is positive.

Finally, some answers... So, we may be getting bought out. I for one hope it happens. Barry has also now let the cat out of the bag regarding the STPEEZ. Many of us have wondered for a long time how EEL and ERHC would share percentages in those early blocks. Now we know, another STP major screw-up...

Frankly, it's OK with me if the STPEEZ doesn't get rushed, but this might answer some questions about whether ERHC traded some part of our EEZ rights for a full JDZ carry. I can't see that happening, being as we don't have clear title, at least not to all of our rights.

Very interesting article. Who said BM isn't THE MAN?

Back to work for me. Good weekend all.

Ruby and others:

I am unclear as to why the other companies claims to 100% of two blocks is contradictory to ERHC claims. Are they saying that they have the rights and we don't? I understood that both entities had 100% of 2 blocks and we also had 15% of two additional blocks.

In other words between the two companies 4.3 blocks were spoken for. If that is the case I do not see why they say that Equator's claims fly in the face of ERHC's.

I believe buyout news is good news for the company. If someone is willing to bid for us then it will prove to investors that what ERHC has is very valuable. Should be positive for share price if this is true. I am not saying they should accept it unless it is just too good to pass up. I hope they don't accept a lowball price considering the recent stock price.

Anyways, any news is better than no news right now.

RE: Barry Morgan's article.

I believe the last paragraph is not correct. Instead of
"BLOCKS 4 and 5" it should be "CHOICES 4 and 5". If I remember correctly, Equator has first pick of two blocks (100% each) and STP has the next picks, then ERHC has their two 100% picks, plus 15% in any blocks of their choice. If this is true, then there shouldn't be any conflict with Equator over the 100% picks as the article indicates.

It is also interesting that the article says: 'blah blah, WRITES Barry Morgan." It's almost as if someone else is reporting on what Barry Morgan wrote and the article itself wasn't written by Barry.

>>>Equator Exploration and its subsidiary Aqua Exploration claim the sole right to acquire 100% working interest in two blocks of its choice in the EEZ.

This appears to fly in the face of claims by ERHC Energy to have a similar exclusive deal for a 100% stake in blocks 4 and 5 along with rights to a 15% stake in EEZ blocks 1, 2&3.<<<
