OT Bakken: you are correct that temporary housing is the way to go but not because the job market in ND may fall apart. Oil and gas development in ND will continue to grow for many yrs (>10); however, many of the humans involved in that development have transient functions or simply get tired of the climate.

Charlie: I lived in North Dakota for three years. I know Williston. I love ND folks, and my oldest friend is from Minot. That said...

One must live in ND for a year or so before it becomes abundantly clear why traditionally they've been one of the few states that lose population every year, why very few professionals who escape want to go back, and why most of their young people can't wait to leave. :-)
