Richard Kelertas, Dundee Securities (10/31/11) "We believe Ethiopia would be very well positioned to supply China and/or India with cheap potash, whether it is through off-take agreements or complete takeover of a project. We view Allana Potash Corp.'s Dallol project as being the best in the basin and therefore the planned infrastructure build out [the Ethiopia-Djibouti railway] is a tremendous positive for the viability of the project; we estimate that once the rail network is complete, the company's transportation costs per tonne could fall by as much as US$15/mt."
