I hope he's ignoring the shareholders. I'd be pissed if he was giving out insider info at this point, wouldn't you? We just got a PR about a month ago and a report is due in a few weeks. He doesn't have an obligation to give out the day to day operations of the company. In fact, he has an obligation not to give the inside scoop.
I'll probably be sending him an email soon wishing him Happy Holidays. I know we've gone back and forth before on software opinions. I've been meaning to ask him about an old violin I picked up a few years ago, I'm sure he could tell me something about it, (but I'll wait until he isn't busy getting the reporting done). As far as asking about company internal operations? That would be rude of me and put him in an uncomfortable position. Why would I want to do that? It also wouldn't be fair to you if he did talk to me.
We've both been around this thing long enough to know how it gets quiet around report time.
