Negotiating skills seem rather intact, if you ask me. They negotiated to have multiple processors running directly at the RKT sites on their premises where the plastic sits and the waste stream originates, and they negotiated exclusive rights to it for 10 years. As a shareholder I could not have hoped for a better "deal".
As for the cost of removing plastic from a large open pit.. it seems to me that's about the easiest/cheapest way to get large amounts of feedstock for just about as close to "free" as possible (short of somebody directly dropping in your hopper).
