I see it here on the OTC far more often than on the big boards, but even large caps can be subject to some manipulation by hedgies.

I have switched to the "mental" stop loss for all my positions, whether OTC or large boards.

I vary the % I'm willing to lose based upon the solidity, or perceived fundamentals, of the underlying play.

I'm far quicker to secure profit in the pinks than anywhere else, and tend to flip more out of the core position.

I always maintain a core, and as often as I can I try to securely book profit for my initial investment (doesn't always work of course, as id be retired...lol).

I feel in trading the best lessons are to know what you own, continually reevaluate your positions and the reasons for which you own them, and cut the "losers" quickly.
