There is a new benchmark out for Hammer that shows an impressive SAP score. I'll attach an English translation.

Interesting... The K8 is really doing well on that particular benchmark. The I2 comes in second over some very big iron. I still have reservations about everyone saying hammer's going to launch at 2.0GHz though. That's a very aggressive frequency ramp given that they're selling "no warranty" "special edition" prototype systems now at 1.4GHz.

My college German has completely atrophied at this point. Any word on the level of optimization for I2 / Opteron on this bench? What OS? Beta patch? System configuration?
