#1543 RE: Art2004 #1542

What is the probability that someone like Joy will do a charitable donation of his time to aid a public company that he has no interest in? The fantasy bubble has popped so we need to move on. JB said he sent messages to some 270 companies so you may as well hope that one of them will call tomorrow if you think Joy will work for NXT.

Hello Art,

First, MX Holdings CEO states that Natcore's LPD process delivers better, more efficient, and lower cost solar cells. As if that weren't enough,

Moreover, our technology allows for solar cell production that eradicates the need for toxic silane; eliminates the need for intensive energy used to apply the antireflective coating; and significantly lowers silicon usage. But our world-changing technology also promises to have dramatic impact on semiconductor devices; optical components; eyewear; aerospace exploration; and architectural coatings, among other uses.

Also, as of late, Natcore has begun playing the 'safer' Ace in the Hole.

Hi teq, Natcore is pleased that they Kleiner is probably not selling their Natcore shares. However, you are correct they own the shares as a result of an earlier large investment in Vanguard.

I do wonder if someone with Bill Joy's contacts might one day help put together a deal between Natcore and a large US tech.

Though hopefully, Natcore and Kodak will be partners.

I heard tht China is beginning to be upset over the amount of environmental pollution caused by the conventional hot furnace production of silicon wafers.

Go Natcore!

I don't think that funding for the silicon wafer tandem cell will be an issue. I asked; What does Natcore tell potential partners regarding funding and time frame for the silicon wafer tandem cell?. Tom Sarpa replied; Invest in the tandem cell now and you'll have it sooner and it will cost you less. If I was a partner, I would be anxious to have the silicon wafer tandem cell sooner and at less cost. No ownership stake in Natcore, in return for funding, was being considered at that time.

Natcore may have the option of funding the silicon wafer tandem cell themselves. At the AGM, Brien Lundin thought that $6 million would be required. That's only $.20 per share.

The flexible thin-film rool-to-roll funding is another matter. IMO, Natcore needs outside funding in order to move this along. Once the AR-Boxes are operating, the LPD process should get a lot of attention. Natcore already has offers from Malaysia and Phono Solar. Although, from what I've seen so far, Natcore won't be willing to give much up for the funding. What they have is too valuable!

It's definately going to be interesting to watch as all of this plays out!
