Absolutely, and if you did not have crooks making decisions based solely on what it does FOR THEIR lifestyle and for VOTES, the system to take care of those truly in need would work like it should. Corruption only produces corrupt systems, and the governments around the world are almost ALL totally corrupt! Give power to a few to legally steal from the masses, and what do we expect?
It's hard to expect anything to get better, as we've heard the politicians, AND the businessmen running for office, promise the moon so many times, and they NEVER deliver. Not only do they not deliver, they get sucked up in the power and money of Washington, and they end up doing the very things they ran against to get elected.
We need a true patriot with common sense all the way around. I think Ron Paul IS a patriot, but he falls short on some foreign and defense issues. I think if he were elected, others around him would change those deficits in him, but obviously, most people do not, so we will either get 4 more years (probably the last 4 of anything resembling a republic) of OBOY, or we will get a Republican who will get swallowed up in DC and only be a bit better. I obviously will vote for ANYONE over OBOY, as I know his path is total economic destruction and a coordinated destruction of the middle class. But, sadly, the one guy with the actual BRAINS to pull things off is Newt, but his baggage makes him unelectable.
I wish Ron Paul and Newt would team up right now, because they counter each others weaknesses. Either could be President and the other Vice. This would be a team, if they truly worked together, that would have a chance at getting the country out of this mess.
Does anyone know a way to get this suggestion to them, because without something as unexpected as this, we WILL have to choose between Romney and OBOY or CAIN and OBOY, and that will be a guaranteed more of the same. At least, it will not be enough to save the nation.
