Saying the US is more in debt than any other country in the world is somewhat misleading. While it's true that the amount of our debt is higher than any other country, that doesn't take into account the amount of debt as compared to the GDP, which gives a more accurate view of our debt. With that in mind, we're ranked around about the 20th worst country in terms of debt. Not that that is acceptable. Our debt is ridiculous and will destroy this country if we don't resolve it.
