FFGO - They do not represent short interest. THEY DO IN FACT represent the total number of shares short sold on any given day. This has been explained on a number of boards including FFGO.

The bi-weekly numbers are the only ones that are accurate, and, lo and behold, the last report shows....... - rbtree

The bi-monthly numbers for FFGO have been stripped from March 2011 back to August 13, 2010. Since March 2011, the bi-monthly numbers have not been reported. Yet, daily short interest is over 90% collectively.

BTW, Daily short numbers better be accurately reported to FINRA.
